Perhaps Lourdes got her unwavering work ethic from her father, a successful businessman in the family’s native Cuba. She remembers him teaching her that if she focused, worked hard and never gave up, her dreams of success would come true. Her mother gave her balance to see the good things in life and taught her, by example.

In an effort to protect his family from an undesirable political climate, Lourdes’ father moved the family from Cuba to Spain when she was just 13. Though times were difficult, her father’s lessons rang in her ears, her entrepreneurial spirit and persistence took hold, and she, too, became a well-respected business owner. Her father’s life lessons turned her into a strong woman, filled with tenacity and drive. Even now, the secret to her success lies in her ability to identify what needs to get done and then make it happen.

This dynamic businesswoman realizes that in order to be at her best, she must find some time to rejuvenate and plan her day ahead. When she gets the chance, Lourdes enjoys walking on the beach, playing golf, going fishing or just staying home and watching old movies.

Lourdes also strongly believes it’s important to give back to her community on her days off, she volunteers at Jackson Memorial Hospital. She also gives her time at the local elementary schools and lend a hand to other community programs as well.
